You are responsible for making your own lodging and transportation arrangements. These costs are not included in the course fee.

Lodging

A limited number of rooms has been reserved for course attendees at the same venue where the courses will be held, the B Resort. The standard single/double room rate will be $122 plus applicable taxes and includes reduced on-site self parking for $11.00 per day. This room block will only be held until September 27, 2020, at 5 p.m. CT (unless depleted earlier). After this date, the room rate and availability cannot be guaranteed.

IMPORTANT: To receive the KU Aerospace Short Course room block rate, along with any associated benefits, including complimentary self-parking and in-room internet, you must make your reservation directly with this hotel, not the central Hilton reservation center or a booking agency.

Transportation

From the Airport

The Orlando International Airport (MCO) is approximately 17.5 miles (28 km) from the B Resort.

Hotel Parking

Discounted parking is available to attendees who book lodging in the KU room block listed above. The discounted rate for those in the KU room block is $11.00 per day.
IMPORTANT: Attendees who book outside the KU room block or stay at an alternate hotel will be charged $23.00 per day to park at the B Resort.

 

Additional travel notes

  • The educational materials included with your course may include one or more course notebooks and textbook(s). Please note that these course materials will add additional weight to your luggage for the return trip home, and plan accordingly when packing.
  • Don't forget to bring your business cards. The KU Aerospace Short Course event is an excellent place to network with industry peers.
