KU Aerospace Short Course Program

Founded in 1977, the KU Aerospace Short Course Program is the professional training choice of the global aerospace community. Developed to address the specific training needs of an aerospace engineer, our industry-expert instructors translate theory into practical application, so you can return to work and solve real-world problems immediately. Aerospace short courses are offered online, at scheduled locations throughout the United States and they can be brought on-site, to your workplace.

The Aircraft Maintenance and Safety track is designed to give participants an understanding of maintenance and safety, including safety assessments, weather-related aviation hazards, damage tolerance and sustainment. Most courses include discussion of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines as related to aircraft maintenance and safety.
